16 fresh jalapeños
8 strips bacon
4 oz cream cheese
1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 TB garlic powder
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
Slice the bacon in half (this will give you 16 half length pieces).
Slice the ends off each jalapeño. Slice each jalapeño in half length-wise. Remove seeds and membranes with a corer or knife.
Mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and garlic powder together in a bowl until blended.
Fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture.
Bake in the preheated oven until bacon is crispy and jalapeños are softened, about 15 minutes.
Let cool a few minutes
