Chili is a great tasting food that many people enjoy. I know there is a major debate between beans or no beans. Since this is a keto site, we have to side with the no bean chili fans. There are many types of chili out there for a variety of tastes. However, most of them contain high amounts of carbs, even the beanless chili. Today we're going to show you how to make the best keto chili recipe.
Keto Chili Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 lbs 80% ground beef
- 1 lb Italian sausage
- 1 green pepper
- 1 onion
- 1 8oz can tomato sauce
- 1 can rotel
- 32oz. beef broth
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 tablespoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne
- 1 tablespoon erythritol
Dice up the green pepper and onion. Remove the casing from your sausage.
Add the beef and sausage to a large soup pot on medium heat and simmer.
Cook until browned then drain half of the grease.
Add in the green pepper and onion.
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 tablespoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne
Add in 1 8oz can tomato sauce and 1 can rotel and 32oz of beef broth.
Add in 1 tbsp of erythritol
Simmer on low for about 1.5 hours, stirring every 20 minutes.
Top with cheddar cheese and sour cream if you would like.
