Hot chocolate is a tasty treat that people enjoy all year round, but it's especially delicious in the winter time. Most hot chocolates are made with sugar milk and sugary mixes. In the end, you get double the sugar! Those of us on the keto diet know we can't have that much sugar in our diets. Fortunately, there are recipes and even keto hot chocolate mixes out there.
Keto Hot Chocolate Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 Tablespoon Cacao
- 1 Tablespoon Stevia
- 2 Tablespoons Boiling Water
- 1.5 Cups Almond Milk
- 1/2 Cup Heavy Cream
- 1 Cup Coconut Milk
Add 1 tbsp of cocao and 1 tbsp of stevia to a mixing bowl.
Add two tablespoons of boiling water. Then mix it together.
Add one cup of coconut milk and mix again
Add 1 1/2 cups of almond milk then mix again
Add 1/2 cup of heavy cream and mix thoroughly. Then heat over a low flame but not to a boil. Mix while heating.
Pour into cups and top with whipped cream if you would like.
